Fan Coil Units (FCUs) are HVAC devices used to control the temperature of indoor spaces by circulating air over a water-based heating or cooling coil. They consist mainly of a fan, a heat exchanger coil, an air filter, and a condensate drain, and they operate by drawing room air through the coil and returning conditioned air back into the space.
